The mountain of Bashan ¹  is a towering mountain; ²  the mountain of Bashan is a mountain with many peaks. ³ 

Their dwelling place was from Mesha all the way to ¹  Sephar in the eastern hills.

From there they traveled through the Ephraimite hill country and arrived at Micah’s house.

From there he traveled to Mount Carmel and then back to Samaria. ¹ 

But as ¹  a mountain falls away and crumbles, ²  and as a rock will be removed from its place,

“I myself ¹  have installed ²  my king on Zion, my holy hill.”

He brought them to the border of his holy land, to this mountainous land ¹  which his right hand ²  acquired.

For wild animals ¹  are prowling over Mount Zion, which lies desolate.

So Moses set out ¹  with ²  Joshua his attendant, and Moses went up the mountain of God.

So the entire company of Israelites ¹  traveled from Kadesh and came to Mount Hor. ² 

Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up on Mount Hor.

So Moses did as the Lord commanded; and they went up Mount Hor in the sight ¹  of the whole community.

“‘And this will be your northern border: From the Great Sea you will draw a line to Mount Hor;

Now it is ordinarily an eleven-day journey ¹  from Horeb ²  to Kadesh Barnea ³  by way of Mount Seir. ⁴ 

Then I said to you, “You have come to the Amorite hill country which the Lord our God is about to give ¹  us.

Their territory extended ¹  from Aroer at the edge of the Arnon valley as far as Mount Siyon ²  – that is, Hermon –

Their territory also included ¹  Gilead, Geshurite and Maacathite territory, all Mount Hermon, and all Bashan to Salecah –

When Sisera heard ¹  that Barak son of Abinoam had gone up to Mount Tabor,

Ahab sent messengers to all the Israelites and had the prophets assemble at Mount Carmel.

Reveal ¹  your light ²  and your faithfulness! They will lead me, ³  they will escort ⁴  me back to your holy hill, ⁵  and to the place where you live. ⁶
