Naphtali is a free running doe, ¹  he speaks delightful words. ² 

Her hands ¹  take hold ²  of the distaff, and her hands grasp the spindle.

She extends ¹  her hand ²  to the poor, and reaches out her hand to the needy.

The men of the ¹  city, the leaders ²  and the nobles who lived there, ³  followed the written orders Jezebel had sent them. ⁴ 

She has sent out her female servants; she calls out on the highest places ¹  of the city.

So Saul sent messengers to Jesse and said, “Send me your son David, who is out with the sheep.

This is what the Lord says: “Where is your mother’s divorce certificate by which I divorced her? Or to which of my creditors did I sell you? ¹  Look, you were sold because of your sins; ²  because of your rebellious acts I divorced your mother. ³ 

“‘There was another great eagle ¹  with broad wings and thick plumage. Now this vine twisted its roots toward him and sent its branches toward him to be watered from the soil where it was planted.
