“You must not afflict ¹  any widow or orphan.

They drive away the orphan’s donkey; they take the widow’s ox as a pledge.

They kill the widow and the one residing outside his native land, and they murder the fatherless. ¹ 

May his children ¹  be fatherless, and his wife a widow!
