This is the account of Esau, the father ¹  of the Edomites, in the hill country of Seir.

These were the sons of Shobal: Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho, ¹  and Onam.

These were the children ¹  of Anah: Dishon and Oholibamah, the daughter of Anah.

These were the sons of Dishon: ¹  Hemdan, Eshban, Ithran, and Keran.

These are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families: Libni and Shimei.

Now these were their names: from the tribe of Reuben, Shammua son of Zaccur;

These are the names of the men: from the tribe of Judah, Caleb son of Jephunneh;

These are the descendants ¹  of Perez: Perez was the father of Hezron,

These were his officials: Azariah son of Zadok was the priest.

These are the names of the sons Gershom: Libni and Shimei.
