His kingdom included ¹  the eastern Arabah from the Sea of Kinnereth ²  to the Sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea), ³  including the route to Beth Jeshimoth and the area southward below the slopes of Pisgah.

“‘And for a western border ¹  you will have the Great Sea. ²  This will be your western border.

On the west side the Great Sea will be the boundary to a point opposite Lebo-hamath. This is the west side.

They traveled from Elim, and camped by the Red Sea.

Its measure is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.

“Who shut up ¹  the sea with doors when it burst forth, ²  coming out of the womb,

If I were to fly away ¹  on the wings of the dawn, ²  and settle down on the other side ³  of the sea,

The Arabah and the Jordan River ¹  were also a border, from the sea of Chinnereth ²  to the sea of the Arabah (that is, the Salt Sea), ³  beneath the watershed ⁴  of Pisgah ⁵  to the east.

Did you not dry up the sea, the waters of the great deep? Did you not make ¹  a path through the depths of the sea, so those delivered from bondage ²  could cross over?

But ¹  you blew with your breath, and ²  the sea covered them. They sank ³  like lead in the mighty waters.

But as for you, ¹  turn back and head for the desert by the way to the Red Sea.” ² 

he alone spreads out the heavens, and treads ¹  on the waves of the sea; ² 

As ¹  water disappears from the sea, ²  or a river drains away and dries up,

Have you gone to the springs that fill the sea, ¹  or walked about in the recesses of the deep?

It makes the deep boil like a cauldron and stirs up the sea like a pot of ointment, ¹ 

The Lord says, “I will retrieve them ¹  from Bashan, I will bring them back from the depths of the sea,

May he rule ¹  from sea to sea, ²  and from the Euphrates River ³  to the ends of the earth!

He divided the sea and led them across it; he made the water stand in a heap.

Its branches reached the Mediterranean Sea, ¹  and its shoots the Euphrates River. ² 

amazing feats in the land of Ham, mighty ¹  acts by the Red Sea.
