The Lord ¹  will fight for you, and you can be still.” ² 

He will demand a tenth of your flocks, and you yourselves will be his servants.

But as for you, ¹  be fruitful and multiply; increase abundantly on the earth and multiply on it.”

But as for you, ¹  turn back and head for the desert by the way to the Red Sea.” ² 

But you who remained faithful to the Lord your God are still alive to this very day, every one of you.

But approach, you sons of omen readers, you offspring of adulteresses and prostitutes! ¹ 

So this is what the sovereign Lord says: “Look, my servants will eat, but you will be hungry! Look, my servants will drink, but you will be thirsty! Look, my servants will rejoice, but you will be humiliated!

Isaac asked them, “Why have you come to me? You hate me ¹  and sent me away from you.”

Your eyes will see it, and then you will say, ‘May the Lord be magnified ¹  even beyond the border of Israel!’”
