¹ “These are the decisions that you will set before them:

So he set it before them; they ate and had some left over, just as the Lord predicted. ¹ 

Their children ¹  are firmly established in their presence, ²  their offspring before their eyes.

Joshua and all Israel pretended to be defeated by them and they retreated along the way to the desert.

May their dining table become a trap before them! May it be a snare for that group of friends! ¹

Abraham ¹  then took some curds and milk, along with the calf that had been prepared, and placed the food ²  before them. They ate while ³  he was standing near them under a tree.
