A rope is hidden for him ¹  on the ground and a trap for him ²  lies on the path.

Guide me ¹  in the path of your commands, for I delight to walk in it. ² 

נ (Nun) Your word ¹  is a lamp to walk by, and a light to illumine my path. ²

I walk in the path of righteousness, in the pathway of justice,

a hidden path ¹  no bird of prey knows – no falcon’s ²  eye has spotted it.

My child, do not go down ¹  their way, ²  withhold yourself ³  from their path; ⁴
