¹ “Whoever strikes someone ²  so that he dies ³  must surely be put to death. ⁴ 

“Whoever strikes ¹  his father or his mother must surely be put to death.

“Whoever treats his father or his mother disgracefully ¹  must surely be put to death.

“But if he hits someone with an iron tool so that he dies, ¹  he is a murderer. The murderer must surely be put to death.

Moreover, you must not accept a ransom for the life of a murderer who is guilty of death; he must surely be put to death.

If he strikes him by throwing a stone large enough that he could die, and he dies, he is a murderer. The murderer must surely be put to death.

and one who misuses ¹  the name of the Lord must surely be put to death. The whole congregation must surely stone him, whether he is a foreigner or a native citizen; when he misuses the Name he must be put to death.

At the testimony of two or three witnesses they must be executed. They cannot be put to death on the testimony of only one witness.

Fathers must not be put to death for what their children ¹  do, nor children for what their fathers do; each must be put to death for his own sin.

If a man has sexual intercourse with his daughter-in-law, both of them must be put to death. They have committed perversion; ¹  their blood guilt is on themselves.
