Even youths get tired and weary; even strong young men clumsily stumble. ¹ 

You stumble day and night, and the false prophets stumble with you; You have destroyed your own people! ¹ 

The arrogance of Israel testifies against it; Israel and Ephraim will be overthrown ¹  because ²  of their iniquity. Even Judah will be brought down ³  with them.

The bows of warriors are shattered, but those who stumble find their strength reinforced.

Your words have supported ¹  those who stumbled, ²  and you have strengthened the knees that gave way. ³ 

He brought his people ¹  out enriched ²  with silver and gold; none of his tribes stumbled.

When my enemies turn back, they trip and are defeated ¹  before you.

Their slander will bring about their demise. ¹  All who see them will shudder, ² 

When you walk, your steps ¹  will not be hampered, ²  and when you run, ³  you will not stumble.

The way of the wicked is like gloomy darkness; ¹  they do not know what causes them to stumble. ² 

Although ¹  a righteous person may fall seven times, he gets up again, but the wicked will be brought down ²  by calamity.

Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, ¹  and when he stumbles do not let your heart rejoice,

Many will stumble over the stone and the rock, ¹  and will fall and be seriously injured, and will be ensnared and captured.”

He will then turn his attention to the fortresses of his own land, but he will stumble and fall, not to be found again.
