with the harvest produced by the daylight ¹  and by ²  the moonlight; ³ 

Do you count the months they must fulfill, and do you know the time they give birth? ¹ 

In the month Ziv ¹  of the fourth year of Solomon’s reign ²  the foundation was laid for the Lord’s temple.

“O that I could be ¹  as ²  I was in the months now gone, ³  in the days ⁴  when God watched ⁵  over me,

Your sun will no longer set; your moon will not disappear; ¹  the Lord will be your permanent source of light; your time ²  of sorrow will be over.
