The Egyptians ¹  piled them in countless heaps, ²  and the land stank.

The dry and liquid measures will be the same, the bath will contain a tenth of a homer, ¹  and the ephah a tenth of a homer; the homer will be the standard measure.

Samson then said, “With the jawbone of a donkey I have left them in heaps; ¹  with the jawbone of a donkey I have struck down a thousand men!”
