The one who has accepted his testimony has confirmed clearly that God is truthful. 1
He came as a witness 1 to testify 2 about the light, so that everyone 3 might believe through him.
He testifies about what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony.
(I do not accept 1 human testimony, but I say this so that you may be saved.)
And he must be well thought of by 1 those outside the faith, 2 so that he may not fall into disgrace and be caught by the devil’s trap. 3
who then 1 testified to everything that he saw concerning the word of God and the testimony about 2 Jesus Christ.
The chief priests and the whole Sanhedrin were looking for evidence against Jesus so that they could put him to death, but they did not find anything.
I tell you the solemn truth, 1 we speak about what we know and testify about what we have seen, but 2 you people 3 do not accept our testimony. 4
and saw the Lord 1 saying to me, ‘Hurry and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not accept your testimony about me.’
(The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; the one who does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has testified concerning his Son.) 1
If we accept the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater, because 1 this 2 is the testimony of God that 3 he has testified concerning his Son.
I, John, your brother and the one who shares 1 with you in the persecution, kingdom, and endurance that 2 are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony about Jesus. 3

So 1 I threw myself down 2 at his feet to worship him, but 3 he said, “Do not do this! 4 I am only 5 a fellow servant 6 with you and your brothers 7 who hold to the testimony about 8 Jesus. Worship God, for the testimony about Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
Then 1 I saw thrones and seated on them were those who had been given authority to judge. 2 I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of the testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. These 3 had not worshiped the beast or his image and had refused to receive his mark on their forehead or hand. They 4 came to life 5 and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
