And the temple curtain ¹  was torn in two, from top to bottom.

Now ¹  while Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the high priest’s slave girls ²  came by.

And I will perform wonders in the sky ¹  above and miraculous signs ²  on the earth below, blood and fire and clouds of smoke.

Just then ¹  the temple curtain ²  was torn in two, from top to bottom. The ³  earth shook and the rocks were split apart.

Jesus replied, ¹  “You people ²  are from below; I am from above. You people are from this world; I am not from this world.

A young man named Eutychus, who was sitting in the window, ¹  was sinking ²  into a deep sleep while Paul continued to speak ³  for a long time. Fast asleep, ⁴  he fell down from the third story and was picked up dead.
