For it is not necessary ¹  for me to write you about this service ²  to the saints,

I have many things to write to you, but I do not wish to write to you with ¹  pen and ink. ² 

Finally, my brothers and sisters, ¹  rejoice in the Lord! To write this again is no trouble to me, and it is a safeguard for you.

Now on the topic of brotherly love ¹  you have no need for anyone to write you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another.

Though I have many other ¹  things to write to you, I do not want to do so with ²  paper and ink, ³  but I hope to come visit you and speak face to face, ⁴  so that our joy may be complete. ⁵ 

Dear friends, although I have been eager to write to you ¹  about our common salvation, I now feel compelled ²  instead to write to encourage ³  you to contend earnestly ⁴  for the faith ⁵  that was once for all ⁶  entrusted to the saints. ⁷ 

When the seven thunders spoke, I was preparing to write, but ¹  just then ²  I heard a voice from heaven say, “Seal up what the seven thunders spoke and do not write it down.”
