“Bring them here to me,” he replied.

Bring ¹  the fattened calf ²  and kill it! Let us eat ³  and celebrate,

Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the head steward,” ¹  and they did.

So Pilate came outside to them and said, “What accusation ¹  do you bring against this man?” ² 

He answered them, ¹  “You ²  unbelieving ³  generation! How much longer ⁴  must I be with you? How much longer must I endure ⁵  you? ⁶  Bring him to me.”

Jesus answered, ¹  “You ²  unbelieving ³  and perverse generation! How much longer ⁴  must I be with you? How much longer must I endure ⁵  you? ⁶  Bring him here to me.”

and said to them, “Go to the village ahead of you. ¹  As soon as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there that has never been ridden. ²  Untie it and bring it here.

But he saw through their hypocrisy and said ¹  to them, “Why are you testing me? Bring me a denarius ²  and let me look at it.”
