Did my hand ¹  not make all these things?’ ² 

When ¹  the plants sprouted and bore grain, then the weeds also appeared.

And he did not do many miracles there because of their unbelief.

So they went. When ¹  he went out again about noon and three o’clock that afternoon, ²  he did the same thing.

and to have authority to cast out demons.

But from the beginning of creation he ¹  made them male and female. ² 

She did what she could. She anointed my body beforehand for burial.

because he who is mighty ¹  has done great things for me, and holy is his name;

He has demonstrated power ¹  with his arm; he has scattered those whose pride wells up from the sheer arrogance ²  of their hearts.

You fools! ¹  Didn’t the one who made the outside make the inside as well? ² 

He won’t thank the slave because he did what he was told, ¹  will he? ² 

Then they said to him, “What did he do to you? How did he cause you to see?” ¹ 

This was according to ¹  the eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,

in these last days he has spoken to us in a son, ¹  whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he created the world. ² 

He ¹  committed no sin nor was deceit found in his mouth. ² 

“Return to your home, ¹  and declare ²  what God has done for you.” ³  So ⁴  he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole town ⁵  what Jesus ⁶  had done for him.

He ¹  said to them, “Haven’t you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry –

“The kingdom of heaven can be compared to a king who gave a wedding banquet for his son.

When ¹  she poured this oil on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial.

He asked, “Why? What wrong has he done?” But they shouted more insistently, “Crucify him!”
