“Therefore, King Agrippa, ¹  I was not disobedient ²  to the heavenly ³  vision,

And I was with you in weakness and in fear and with much trembling.

I was in the Spirit ¹  on the Lord’s Day ²  when ³  I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet,

Immediately I was in the Spirit, ¹  and ²  a throne was standing ³  in heaven with someone seated on it!

And Isaiah is even bold enough to say, “I was found by those who did not seek me; I became well known to those who did not ask for me.” ¹ 

To the weak I became weak in order to gain the weak. I have become all things to all people, so that by all means I may save some.

I became a servant of the church according to the stewardship ¹  from God – given to me for you – in order to complete ²  the word of God,

When they arrived, he said to them, “You yourselves know how I lived ¹  the whole time I was with you, from the first day I set foot ²  in the province of Asia, ³ 

To the Jews I became like a Jew to gain the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law) ¹  to gain those under the law.

if indeed you remain in the faith, established and firm, ¹  without shifting ²  from the hope of the gospel that you heard. This gospel has also been preached in all creation under heaven, and I, Paul, have become its servant.

I, John, your brother and the one who shares ¹  with you in the persecution, kingdom, and endurance that ²  are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony about Jesus. ³ 

and the one who lives! I ¹  was dead, but look, now I am alive – forever and ever – and I hold the keys of death and of Hades! ²
