Do we not have the right to financial support? ¹ 

Or do only Barnabas and I lack the right not to work?

Now we have such confidence in God through Christ.

in whom we have boldness and confident access ¹  to God ²  because of ³  Christ’s ⁴  faithfulness. ⁵ 

in whom we have redemption, ¹  the forgiveness of sins.

For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come.

Dear friends, if our conscience does not condemn us, we have confidence in the presence of God,

They ¹  said to him, “We have here only five loaves and two fish.”

Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, “Why do we still need witnesses?

Then ¹  they said, “Why do we need further testimony? We have heard it ourselves ²  from his own lips!” ³ 

For just as in one body we have many members, and not all the members serve the same function,

For who has known the mind of the Lord, so as to advise him? ¹  But we have the mind of Christ.

If anyone intends to quarrel about this, we have no other practice, nor do the churches of God.

so that ¹  through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.

It was not because we do not have that right, but to give ourselves as an example for you to imitate. ¹ 

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, sure and steadfast, which reaches inside behind the curtain, ¹ 

We have an altar that those who serve in the tabernacle have no right to eat from.

Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to conduct ourselves rightly in every respect.

If we say we do not bear the guilt of sin, ¹  we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.

Then the high priest tore his clothes and declared, ¹  “He has blasphemed! Why do we still need witnesses? Now ²  you have heard the blasphemy!
