The ¹  Pharisee was astonished when he saw that Jesus ²  did not first wash his hands ³  before the meal.

Immediately ¹  something like scales ²  fell from his eyes, and he could see again. He ³  got up and was baptized,

Now ¹  in those days Jesus came from Nazareth ²  in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan River. ³ 

At ¹  that hour of the night he took them ²  and washed their wounds; ³  then ⁴  he and all his family ⁵  were baptized right away. ⁶ 

After she and her household were baptized, she urged us, ¹  “If ²  you consider me to be a believer in the Lord, ³  come and stay in my house.” And she persuaded ⁴  us.
