Regaining his sight ¹  he said, “I see people, but they look like trees walking.”

Then ¹  he told them a parable: “Look at the fig tree and all the other trees. ² 

“Do not damage the earth or the sea or the trees until we have put a seal on the foreheads of the servants ¹  of our God.”

These men are ¹  dangerous reefs ²  at your love feasts, ³  feasting without reverence, ⁴  feeding only themselves. ⁵  They are ⁶  waterless ⁷  clouds, carried along by the winds; autumn trees without fruit ⁸  – twice dead, ⁹  uprooted;
