And he placed his hands on them and went on his way. ¹ 

It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

After he took the children in his arms, he placed his hands on them and blessed them.

Then they took hold of him ¹  and arrested him.

Then ¹  he placed his hands on her, and immediately ²  she straightened up and praised God.

When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet. ¹

He was not able to do a miracle there, except to lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them.

Simon Peter said to him, “Lord, wash ¹  not only my feet, but also my hands and my head!”

So ¹  they seized ²  them and put them in jail ³  until the next day (for it was already evening).

and he has seen in a vision ¹  a man named Ananias come in and place his hands on him so that he may see again.”

About that time King Herod ¹  laid hands on ²  some from the church to harm them. ³
