When ¹  did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’

saying, “Surely I will bless you greatly and multiply your descendants abundantly.” ¹ 

For the days will come upon you when your enemies will build ¹  an embankment ²  against you and surround you and close in on you from every side.

Should you not have shown mercy to your fellow slave, just as I showed it to you?’

But so that I may not delay ¹  you any further, I beg ²  you to hear us briefly ³  with your customary graciousness. ⁴ 

I will rescue ¹  you from your own people ²  and from the Gentiles, to whom ³  I am sending you

Even if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times returns to you saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive ¹  him.”

Righteous Father, even if the world does not know you, I know you, and these men ¹  know that you sent me.

So Pilate said, ¹  “Do you refuse to speak to me? Don’t you know I have the authority ²  to release you, and to crucify you?” ³ 

For this ¹  is what the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have appointed ²  you to be a light ³  for the Gentiles, to bring salvation ⁴  to the ends of the earth.’” ⁵ 

Your conduct must be free from the love of money and you must be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you and I will never abandon you.” ¹ 

But I hope to see you right away, and we will speak face to face. ¹  (1:15) Peace be with you. ²  The friends here ³  greet you. Greet the friends ⁴  there ⁵  by name.

And if anyone forces you to go one mile, ¹  go with him two.

When ¹  did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or naked and clothe you?

saying, “Prophesy for us, you Christ! ¹  Who hit you?” ² 

When they found him, they said, “Everyone is looking for you.”

for it is written, ‘He will command his angels concerning you, to protect you,’ ¹ 

and ‘with their hands they will lift you up, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’” ¹ 

Then ¹  he said to the man, ²  “Get up and go your way. Your faith has made you well.” ³ 

Jesus ¹  said to him, “Receive ²  your sight; your faith has healed you.” ³
