They will never go hungry or be thirsty again, and the sun will not beat down on them, nor any burning heat, ¹ 

For the appeal we make ¹  does not come ²  from error or impurity or with deceit,

Yet even on this point their testimony did not agree.

(For not even his own brothers believed in him.) ¹ 

just as it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one,

For if the dead are not raised, then not even Christ has been raised.

So even the first covenant was inaugurated with blood. ¹ 

He will not quarrel or cry out, nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets.

– children not born ¹  by human parents ²  or by human desire ³  or a husband’s ⁴  decision, ⁵  but by God.

“But as for that day and hour no one knows it – not even the angels in heaven ¹  – except the Father alone.

“But as for that day or hour no one knows it – neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son ¹  – except the Father.

So they asked John, ¹  “Why then are you baptizing if you are not the Christ, ²  nor Elijah, nor the Prophet?”

But ¹  no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or look into it.

“A disciple is not greater than his teacher, nor a slave ¹  greater than his master.

Or the seven loaves for the four thousand and how many baskets you took up?

Therefore stay alert, because you do not know the day or the hour. ¹ 

But he did not answer even one accusation, so that the governor was quite amazed.

They went back and told the rest, but they did not believe them.

So if ¹  you cannot do such a very little thing as this, why do you worry about ²  the rest?

All things were created ¹  by him, and apart from him not one thing was created ²  that has been created. ³
