But Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. ¹ 

After he came down from the mountain, large crowds followed him.

then those in Judea must flee ¹  to the mountains.

After ¹  singing a hymn, ²  they went out to the Mount of Olives.

There on the hillside, ¹  a great herd of pigs was feeding.

After saying good-bye to them, he went to the mountain to pray.

After singing a hymn, ¹  they went out to the Mount of Olives.

So Jesus went on up the mountainside ¹  and sat down there with his disciples.

For they could not bear what was commanded: “If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned.” ¹ 

But you have come to Mount Zion, the city ¹  of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the assembly

Every ¹  island fled away ²  and no mountains could be found. ³ 

You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill cannot be hidden.

So ¹  the eleven disciples went to Galilee to the mountain Jesus had designated.

Now ¹  Jesus went up the mountain ²  and called for those he wanted, and they came to him.

Now on ¹  the next day, when they had come down from the mountain, a large crowd met him.

Then they will begin to say to the mountains, ¹  ‘Fall on us!’ and to the hills, ‘Cover us!’ ² 

Then they returned to Jerusalem ¹  from the mountain ²  called the Mount of Olives ³  (which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s journey ⁴  away).

When this voice was conveyed from heaven, we ourselves ¹  heard it, for we were with him on the holy mountain. ² 

The sky ¹  was split apart ²  like a scroll being rolled up, ³  and every mountain and island was moved from its place.

Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their grandeur. ¹
