You are witnesses ¹  of these things.

This Jesus God raised up, and we are all witnesses of it. ¹ 

because you will be his witness ¹  to all people ²  of what you have seen and heard.

For God is my witness that I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus.

For we never appeared ¹  with flattering speech, as you know, nor with a pretext for greed – God is our witness –

Do not accept an accusation against an elder unless it can be confirmed by two or three witnesses. ¹ 

Someone who rejected the law of Moses was put to death ¹  without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. ² 

Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, “Why do we still need witnesses?

Now I appeal to God as my witness, ¹  that to spare ²  you I did not come again to Corinth. ³

You killed ¹  the Originator ²  of life, whom God raised ³  from the dead. To this fact we are witnesses! ⁴ 

And we are witnesses of these events, ¹  and so is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey ²  him.”

They brought forward false witnesses who said, “This man does not stop saying things against this holy place ¹  and the law. ² 

When ¹  they had driven him out of the city, they began to stone him, ²  and the witnesses laid their cloaks ³  at the feet of a young man named Saul.
