Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses saw where the body ¹  was placed.

Greet Mary, who has worked very hard for you.

(Now Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were sitting there, opposite the tomb.)

Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee.

Now after the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.

There were also women, watching from a distance. Among them were Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joses, ¹  and Salome.

When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought aromatic spices ¹  so that they might go and anoint him.

Now it was Mary Magdalene, ¹  Joanna, ²  Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them who told these things to the apostles.

And Mary ¹  said, ²  “My soul exalts ³  the Lord, ⁴ 

He went ¹  to be registered with Mary, who was promised in marriage to him, ²  and who was expecting a child.

Now standing beside Jesus’ cross were his mother, his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene. ¹ 

and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, by whom ¹  Jesus was born, who is called Christ. ²

to a virgin engaged ¹  to a man whose name was Joseph, a descendant of David, ²  and the virgin’s name was Mary.

So ¹  the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, ²  Mary, for you have found favor ³  with God!

Mary ¹  said to the angel, “How will this be, since I have not had sexual relations with ²  a man?”

In those days ¹  Mary got up and went hurriedly into the hill country, to a town of Judah, ² 

So ¹  Mary stayed with Elizabeth ²  about three months ³  and then returned to her home.

But Mary treasured up all these words, pondering in her heart what they might mean. ¹ 

but one thing ¹  is needed. Mary has chosen the best ²  part; it will not be taken away from her.”
