He takes away ¹  every branch that does not bear ²  fruit in me. He ³  prunes ⁴  every branch that bears ⁵  fruit so that it will bear more fruit.

Therefore produce fruit ¹  that proves your ²  repentance,

So then, you will recognize them by their fruit.

In the same way, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad ¹  tree bears bad fruit.

A good tree is not able to bear bad fruit, nor a bad tree to bear good fruit.

“For ¹  no good tree bears bad ²  fruit, nor again ³  does a bad tree bear good fruit,

“Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad ¹  and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is known by its fruit.

When the harvest time was near, he sent his slaves ¹  to the tenants to collect his portion of the crop. ² 

Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

When ¹  the plants sprouted and bore grain, then the weeds also appeared.

for the fruit of the light ¹  consists in ²  all goodness, righteousness, and truth –

filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God.

The farmer who works hard ought to have the first share of the crops.

And the fruit that consists of righteousness ¹  is planted ²  in peace among ³  those who make peace.

flowing down the middle of the city’s ¹  main street. ²  On each side ³  of the river is the tree of life producing twelve kinds ⁴  of fruit, yielding its fruit every month of the year. ⁵  Its leaves are for the healing of the nations.

You will recognize them by their fruit. Grapes are not gathered ¹  from thorns or figs from thistles, are they? ²
