I tell you the truth, 1 this generation will be held responsible for all these things! 2
For just a little longer 1 and he who is coming will arrive and not delay. 2
However, hold on to what you have until I come.
Therefore, remember what you received and heard, 1 and obey it, 2 and repent. If you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will never 3 know at what hour I will come against 4 you.
Then 1 people 2 will come from east and west, and from north and south, and take their places at the banquet table 3 in the kingdom of God. 4
Jesus replied, 1 “Woman, 2 why are you saying this to me? 3 My time 4 has not yet come.”
I tell you, many will come from the east and west to share the banquet 1 with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob 2 in the kingdom of heaven,
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the whole inhabited earth as a testimony to all the nations, 1 and then the end will come.
then the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not foresee,
For the days will come upon you when your enemies will build 1 an embankment 2 against you and surround you and close in on you from every side.
Everyone whom the Father gives me will come to me, and the one who comes to me I will never send away. 1
And so 1 all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion; he will remove ungodliness from Jacob.
“Then I said, ‘Here I am: 1 I have come – it is written of me in the scroll of the book – to do your will, O God.’” 2
then he says, “Here I am: I have come to do your will.” 1 He does away with 2 the first to establish the second.
then the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not foresee, and will cut him in two, 1 and assign him a place with the unfaithful. 2
The slave replied, 1 ‘Your brother has returned, and your father has killed the fattened calf 2 because he got his son 3 back safe and sound.’
When he heard that Jesus had come back from Judea to Galilee, he went to him and begged him 1 to come down and heal his son, who was about to die.
Jesus replied, 1 “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come from God and am now here. 2 I 3 have not come on my own initiative, 4 but he 5 sent me.
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief; when it comes, 1 the heavens will disappear 2 with a horrific noise, 3 and the celestial bodies 4 will melt away 5 in a blaze, 6 and the earth and every deed done on it 7 will be laid bare. 8
Who will not fear you, O Lord, and glorify 1 your name, because you alone are holy? 2 All nations 3 will come and worship before you for your righteous acts 4 have been revealed.”
