But Jesus ¹  turned and rebuked them, ² 

Then ¹  he warned them not to tell anyone about him. ² 

But he sternly warned them not to make him known.

Then he instructed his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Christ. ¹ 

But ¹  Jesus rebuked him: ²  “Silence! Come out of him!” ³ 

But ¹  he sternly ordered them not to make him known. ² 

Now ¹  people were bringing little children to him for him to touch, ²  but the disciples scolded those who brought them. ³ 

But he forcefully commanded ¹  them not to tell this to anyone, ² 

He spoke openly about this. So ¹  Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him.

Many scolded ¹  him to get him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

So ¹  he stood over her, commanded ²  the fever, and it left her. Immediately ³  she got up and began to serve ⁴  them.

Watch ¹  yourselves! If ²  your brother ³  sins, rebuke him. If ⁴  he repents, forgive him.

Now people ¹  were even bringing their babies ²  to him for him to touch. ³  But when the disciples saw it, they began to scold those who brought them. ⁴ 

But ¹  some of the Pharisees ²  in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.” ³ 

Preach the message, ¹  be ready ²  whether it is convenient or not, ³  reprove, rebuke, exhort ⁴  with complete patience and instruction.

But ¹  he said to them, “Why are you cowardly, you people of little faith?” Then he got up and rebuked ²  the winds and the sea, ³  and it was dead calm.

So Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him: ¹  “God forbid, ²  Lord! This must not happen to you!”

Then ¹  Jesus rebuked ²  the demon and it came out of him, and the boy was healed from that moment.

Then little children were brought to him for him to lay his hands on them and pray. ¹  But the disciples scolded those who brought them. ² 

The ¹  crowd scolded ²  them to get them to be quiet. But they shouted even more loudly, “Lord, have mercy on us, ³  Son of David!”
