So then, my brothers and sisters, ¹  when you come together to eat, wait for one another.

where he is now waiting ¹  until his enemies are made a footstool for his feet. ² 

For he was looking forward to the city with firm foundations, ¹  whose architect and builder is God.

While Paul was waiting for them in Athens, ¹  his spirit was greatly upset ²  because he saw ³  the city was full of idols.

So then, let no one treat him with contempt. But send him on his way in peace so that he may come to me. For I am expecting him with the brothers. ¹ 

So be patient, brothers and sisters, ¹  until the Lord’s return. ²  Think of how the farmer waits ³  for the precious fruit of the ground and is patient ⁴  for it until it receives the early and late rains.
