Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and make your hearts pure, you double-minded. ¹ 

“Repent, ¹  for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

As you go, preach this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven is near!’

Get up, let us go. Look! My betrayer ¹  is approaching!”

Now all the tax collectors ¹  and sinners were coming ²  to hear him.

Now ¹  when Jesus ²  approached ³  and saw the city, he wept over it,

Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread, ¹  which is called the Passover, was approaching.

So they approached the village where they were going. He acted as though he wanted to go farther, ¹ 

For the culmination of all things is near. So be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of prayer. ¹ 

From that time Jesus began to preach this message: ¹  “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.”

Heal ¹  the sick in that town ²  and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God ³  has come upon ⁴  you!’

As ¹  Jesus ²  approached ³  Jericho, ⁴  a blind man was sitting by the road begging.

So ¹  Jesus stopped and ordered the beggar ²  to be brought to him. When the man ³  came near, Jesus ⁴  asked him,

“But when you see Jerusalem ¹  surrounded ²  by armies, then know that its ³  desolation ⁴  has come near.

But when these things ¹  begin to happen, stand up and raise your heads, because your redemption ²  is drawing near.”

While ¹  they were talking and debating ²  these things, ³  Jesus himself approached and began to accompany them

As he was going along, approaching ¹  Damascus, suddenly a light from heaven flashed ²  around him.

for the law made nothing perfect. On the other hand a better hope is introduced, through which we draw near to God.

You also be patient and strengthen your hearts, for the Lord’s return is near.
