But if they do not have self-control, let them get married. For it is better to marry than to burn with sexual desire. ¹ 

“Everyone who divorces his wife and marries ¹  someone else commits adultery, and the one who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery.

And if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.” ¹ 

Another ¹  said, ‘I just got married, and I cannot come.’ ² 

But a married man is concerned about the things of the world, how to please his wife,

But do not accept younger widows on the list, ¹  because their passions may lead them away from Christ ²  and they will desire to marry,

But if you marry, you have not sinned. And if a virgin marries, she has not sinned. But those who marry will face difficult circumstances, ¹  and I am trying to spare you such problems. ² 

For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels ¹  in heaven.

So ¹  he told them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.

For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels ¹  in heaven.

So ¹  Jesus said to them, “The people of this age ²  marry and are given in marriage.

To the married I give this command – not I, but the Lord ¹  – a wife should not divorce a husband

So I want younger women to marry, raise children, and manage a household, in order to give the adversary no opportunity to vilify us. ¹ 

Now I say to you that whoever divorces his wife, except for immorality, and marries another commits adultery.”

The ¹  disciples said to him, “If this is the case of a husband with a wife, it is better not to marry!”

People ¹  were eating, ²  they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage – right up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then ³  the flood came and destroyed them all. ⁴ 

But those who are regarded as worthy to share in ¹  that age and in the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage. ² 

They will prohibit marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except for immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

Now there were seven brothers among us. The first one married and died, and since he had no children he left his wife to his brother.
