In the same way the Lord commanded those who proclaim the gospel to receive their living by the gospel.

There ¹  they continued to proclaim ²  the good news.

What then is my reward? That when I preach the gospel I may offer the gospel free of charge, and so not make full use of my rights in the gospel.

For if I preach the gospel, I have no reason for boasting, because I am compelled to do this. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!

The beginning of the gospel ¹  of Jesus Christ, ²  the Son of God. ³ 

First the gospel must be preached to all nations.

by fitting your ¹  feet with the preparation that comes from the good news ²  of peace, ³ 

Now ¹  I want you to know, brothers and sisters, ²  that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. ³ 

I do all these things because of the gospel, so that I can be a participant in it.

not that there really is another gospel, ¹  but ²  there are some who are disturbing you and wanting ³  to distort the gospel of Christ.

On the contrary, when they saw ¹  that I was entrusted with the gospel to the uncircumcised ²  just as Peter was to the circumcised ³ 

Thus I am eager ¹  also to preach the gospel to you who are in Rome. ² 

But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing,

But ¹  we did not surrender to them ²  even for a moment, ³  in order that the truth of the gospel would remain with you. ⁴ 

But you know it was because of a physical illness that I first proclaimed the gospel to you,

because of your participation ¹  in the gospel from the first day until now. ² 

This ¹  accords with the glorious gospel of the blessed God ²  that was entrusted to me. ³ 

Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, a descendant of David; ¹  such is my gospel, ² 

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the whole inhabited earth as a testimony to all the nations, ¹  and then the end will come.

Now when I arrived in Troas ¹  to proclaim the gospel of Christ, even though the Lord had opened ²  a door of opportunity ³  for me,
