Their children ¹  are firmly established in their presence, ²  their offspring before their eyes.

For he set its foundation upon the seas, and established ¹  it upon the ocean currents. ² 

Your throne has been secure from ancient times; you have always been king. ¹ 

when he established the clouds above, when the fountains of the deep grew strong, ¹ 

By ¹  wisdom a house is built, ²  and through understanding it is established;

He will build me a house, and I will make his dynasty permanent. ¹ 

it will remain stable, like the moon, ¹  his throne will endure like the skies.” ²  (Selah)

No one ¹  can be established ²  through wickedness, but a righteous root ³  cannot be moved.

If a king judges the poor in truth, ¹  his throne ²  will be established forever.

Plans ¹  are established by counsel, so ²  make war ³  with guidance.

so ¹  it may become a reality ²  and you may gain lasting fame, ³  as people say, ⁴  ‘The Lord who commands armies is the God of Israel.’ ⁵  David’s dynasty ⁶  will be established before you,

Now look, I realize that you will in fact be king and that the kingdom of Israel will be established in your hand.

Solomon sat on his father David’s throne, and his royal authority ¹  was firmly solidified.
