For it seemed best to the Holy Spirit and to us 1 not to place any greater burden on you than these necessary rules: 2
But if I build up again those things I once destroyed, 1 I demonstrate that I am one who breaks God’s law. 2
Now what is sought in stewards is that one be found faithful.
but it is more vital for your sake that I remain 1 in the body. 2
Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? 1 No one is good except God alone.
Jesus 1 said to him, “Why do you call me good? 2 No one is good except God alone.
Now 1 a certain ruler 2 asked him, “Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” 3
Wasn’t 1 it necessary 2 for the Christ 3 to suffer these things and enter into his glory?”
and know his will 1 and approve the superior things because you receive instruction from the law, 2
an educator of the senseless, a teacher of little children, because you have in the law the essential features of knowledge and of the truth –
On the contrary, those members that seem to be weaker are essential,
1 who though he existed in the form of God 2 did not regard equality with God as something to be grasped,
And you know that Jesus 1 was revealed to take away 2 sins, and in him there is no sin.
He said to him, “Why do you ask me about what is good? There is only one who is good. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”
and so cause them to incur a penalty for guilt 1 when they eat their holy offerings, 2 for I am the Lord who sanctifies them.’”
O Lord, sovereign God! 1 Who is strong like you, O Lord? Your faithfulness surrounds you.
To obey the Lord is the fundamental principle for wise living; 1 all who carry out his precepts acquire good moral insight. 2 He will receive praise forever. 3
Now 1 someone came up to him and said, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to gain eternal life?”
but one thing 1 is needed. Mary has chosen the best 2 part; it will not be taken away from her.”
And I tell you, make friends for yourselves by how you use worldly wealth, 1 so that when it runs out you will be welcomed 2 into the eternal homes. 3
