He told them, “Collect no more ¹  than you are required to.” ² 

With regard to the collection for the saints, please follow the directions that I gave to the churches of Galatia: ¹ 

At harvest time he sent a slave ¹  to the tenants to collect from them ²  his portion of the crop. ³ 

When the harvest time was near, he sent his slaves ¹  to the tenants to collect his portion of the crop. ² 

The words of the sages are like prods, ¹  and the collected sayings are like firmly fixed nails; they are given by one shepherd.

These also are proverbs of Solomon, which the men of King Hezekiah of Judah copied: ¹ 

However, a spring or a cistern which collects water ¹  will be clean, but one who touches their carcass will be unclean.

From the firstborn males of the Israelites he collected the money, 1,365 shekels, according to the sanctuary shekel.
