with a bud under the first two branches from it, and a bud under the next two branches from it, and a bud under the third two branches from it; according to the six branches that extended from it. ¹ 

Six branches are to extend from the sides of the lampstand, ¹  three branches of the lampstand from one side of it and three branches of the lampstand from the other side of it. ²

Before his time ¹  he will be paid in full, ²  and his branches will not flourish. ³

Its boughs were strong, fit ¹  for rulers’ scepters; it reached up into the clouds. It stood out because of its height and its many branches. ² 

“This is its meaning,” Joseph said to him. “The three branches represent ¹  three days.

Then you will say, “The branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.”

For if God did not spare the natural branches, perhaps he will not spare you.

If anyone does not remain ¹  in me, he is thrown out like a branch, and dries up; and such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, ²  and are burned up. ³ 

It sprouted and became a vine, spreading low to the ground; ¹  its branches turning toward him, ²  its roots were under itself. ³  So it became a vine; it produced shoots and sent out branches.

Three cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms are to be on one branch, and three cups shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms are to be on the next ¹  branch, and the same ²  for the six branches extending from the lampstand.

Joseph is a fruitful bough, ¹  a fruitful bough near a spring whose branches ²  climb over the wall.

Their buds and their branches will be one piece, ¹  all of it one hammered piece of pure gold.
