When Adoni-Bezek ran away, they chased him and captured him. Then they cut off his thumbs and big toes.

and he slaughtered it. ¹  Moses then took some of its blood and put it on Aaron’s right earlobe, ²  on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe ³  of his right foot.

Next he brought Aaron’s sons forward, and Moses put some of the blood on their right earlobes, on their right thumbs, and on the big toes of their right feet, and Moses splashed the rest of the blood against the altar’s sides.

Then the priest is to take some of the blood of the guilt offering and put it on the right earlobe of the one being cleansed, ¹  on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe ²  of his right foot.

There at home they will say, ‘Pharaoh king of Egypt is just a big noise! ¹  He has let the most opportune moment pass by.’ ²

The child grew and was weaned. Abraham prepared ¹  a great feast on the day that Isaac was weaned. ²

So Laban invited all the people ¹  of that place and prepared a feast.

Why ²  do the nations rebel? ³  Why ⁴  are the countries ⁵  devising ⁶  plots that will fail? ⁷ 

Turn toward me and have mercy on me, for I am alone ¹  and oppressed!
