Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “In my dream I was standing ¹  by the edge of the Nile.

When I had returned, I noticed ¹  a vast number of trees on the banks of the river, on both sides.

I, Daniel, watched as two others stood there, one on each side of the river. ¹ 

On the twenty-fourth day of the first month ¹  I was beside the great river, the Tigris. ² 

He picked up Elijah’s cloak, which had fallen off him, and went back and stood on the shore of the Jordan.

They crossed the Jordan River ¹  in the first month, ²  when it was overflowing its banks, and routed those living in all the valleys to the east and west. ³

Then seven bad-looking, thin cows were coming up after them from the Nile, ¹  and they stood beside the other cows at the edge of the river. ² 

Then I heard a human voice coming from between the banks of the Ulai. It called out, “Gabriel, ¹  enable this person to understand the vision.”

On both sides of the river’s banks, every kind of tree will grow for food. Their leaves will not wither nor will their fruit fail, but they will bear fruit every month, because their water source flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing.” ¹ 

Go to Pharaoh in the morning when ¹  he goes out to the water. Position yourself ²  to meet him by the edge of the Nile, ³  and take ⁴  in your hand the staff ⁵  that was turned into a snake.

And he said, ¹  “Go!” So ²  they came out and went into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep slope into the lake and drowned in the water.
