and said, “By what authority ¹  are you doing these things? Or who gave you this authority to do these things?”

“While doing this very thing, ¹  as I was going ²  to Damascus with authority and complete power ³  from the chief priests,

and to have authority to cast out demons.

These kings ¹  have a single intent, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.
