Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene, ¹  and visitors from Rome, ² 

Thus I am eager ¹  also to preach the gospel to you who are in Rome. ² 

But when he arrived in Rome, ¹  he eagerly searched for me and found me.

There ¹  we found ²  some brothers ³  and were invited to stay with them seven days. And in this way we came to Rome. ⁴ 

When we entered Rome, Paul was allowed to live ¹  by himself, with the soldier who was guarding him.

To all those loved by God in Rome, ¹  called to be saints: ²  Grace and peace to you ³  from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!

Now after all these things had taken place, ¹  Paul resolved ²  to go to Jerusalem, ³  passing through Macedonia ⁴  and Achaia. ⁵  He said, ⁶  “After I have been there, I must also see Rome.” ⁷ 

There he ¹  found ²  a Jew named Aquila, ³  a native of Pontus, ⁴  who had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius ⁵  had ordered all the Jews to depart from ⁶  Rome. ⁷  Paul approached ⁸  them,

The following night the Lord ¹  stood near ²  Paul ³  and said, “Have courage, ⁴  for just as you have testified about me in Jerusalem, ⁵  so you must also testify in Rome.” ⁶ 

But I found that he had done nothing that deserved death, ¹  and when he appealed ²  to His Majesty the Emperor, ³  I decided to send him. ⁴ 

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. ¹ 

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be ¹  with your spirit. ² 

For ¹  we are in danger of being charged with rioting ²  today, since there is no cause we can give to explain ³  this disorderly gathering.” ⁴ 

A man named Barabbas was imprisoned with rebels who had committed murder during an insurrection.

saying, “This man is persuading ¹  people to worship God in a way contrary to ²  the law!”

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be ¹  with your spirit, brothers and sisters. ²  Amen.

Grace be ¹  with all of those who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love. ² 

The Lord ¹  be with your spirit. Grace be with you. ² 

The brothers from there, ¹  when they heard about us, came as far as the Forum of Appius ²  and Three Taverns ³  to meet us. When he saw them, ⁴  Paul thanked God and took courage.

when I go to Spain. For I hope to visit you when I pass through and that you will help me ¹  on my journey there, after I have enjoyed your company for a while.
