So they loaded their grain on their donkeys and left. ¹ 

“‘If you present a grain offering of first ripe grain to the Lord, you must present your grain offering of first ripe grain as soft kernels roasted in fire – crushed bits of fresh grain. ¹ 

“If a fire breaks out and spreads ¹  to thorn bushes, ²  so that stacked grain or standing grain or the whole field is consumed, the one who started ³  the fire must surely make restitution.

Crumble it in pieces ¹  and pour olive oil on it – it is a grain offering.

And you must put olive oil on it and set frankincense on it – it is a grain offering.

Every grain offering of a priest must be a whole offering; it must not be eaten.”

You must not muzzle your ¹  ox when it is treading grain.

When ¹  the plants sprouted and bore grain, then the weeds also appeared.

And your raised offering will be credited ¹  to you as though it were grain from the threshing floor or as new wine ²  from the winepress.

When you go into the ripe grain fields of your neighbor you may pluck off the kernels with your hand, ¹  but you must not use a sickle on your neighbor’s ripe grain.

It will be as when one gathers the grain harvest, and his hand gleans the ear of grain. It will be like one gathering the ears of grain in the Valley of Rephaim.

May God give you the dew of the sky ¹  and the richness ²  of the earth, and plenty of grain and new wine.

They ate some of the produce of the land the day after the Passover, including unleavened bread and roasted grain. ¹ 

He made storerooms for the harvest of grain, wine, and olive oil, and stalls for all his various kinds of livestock and his flocks. ¹

By itself the soil produces a crop, first the stalk, then the head, then the full grain in the head.

The grain offering will be an ephah with the ram, and the grain offering with the lambs will be as much as he is able to give, ¹  and a gallon ²  of olive oil with an ephah.

The grains of seed ¹  have shriveled beneath their shovels. ²  Storehouses have been decimated and granaries have been torn down, for the grain has dried up.
