At that time 1 some 2 prophets 3 came down 4 from Jerusalem 5 to Antioch. 6
But Paul and Barnabas remained in Antioch, 1 teaching and proclaiming (along with many others) 2 the word of the Lord. 3
A report 1 about them came to the attention 2 of the church in Jerusalem, 3 and they sent Barnabas 4 to Antioch. 5
Moving on from 1 Perga, 2 they arrived at Pisidian Antioch, 3 and on the Sabbath day they went into 4 the synagogue 5 and sat down.
From there they sailed back to Antioch, 1 where they had been commended 2 to the grace of God for the work they had now completed. 3
So when they were dismissed, 1 they went down to Antioch, 2 and after gathering the entire group 3 together, they delivered the letter.
and when he arrived 1 at Caesarea, 2 he went up and greeted 3 the church at Jerusalem 4 and then went down to Antioch. 5
But when Cephas 1 came to Antioch, 2 I opposed him to his face, because he had clearly done wrong. 3
and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. 1 So 2 for a whole year Barnabas and Saul 3 met with the church and taught a significant number of people. 4 Now it was in Antioch 5 that the disciples were first called Christians. 6
But there were some men from Cyprus 1 and Cyrene 2 among them who came 3 to Antioch 4 and began to speak to the Greeks 5 too, proclaiming the good news of the Lord Jesus.
But Jews came from Antioch 1 and Iconium, 2 and after winning 3 the crowds over, they stoned 4 Paul and dragged him out of the city, presuming him to be dead.
After they had proclaimed the good news in that city and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, 1 to Iconium, 2 and to Antioch. 3
They sent this letter with them: 1 From the apostles 2 and elders, your brothers, 3 to the Gentile brothers and sisters 4 in Antioch, 5 Syria, 6 and Cilicia, greetings!
as well as the persecutions and sufferings 1 that happened to me in Antioch, 2 in Iconium, and in Lystra. 3 I endured these persecutions and the Lord delivered me from them all.
Now those who had been scattered because of the persecution that took place over Stephen 1 went as far as 2 Phoenicia, 3 Cyprus, 4 and Antioch, 5 speaking the message 6 to no one but Jews.
The 1 proposal pleased the entire group, so 2 they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, with 3 Philip, 4 Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas, a Gentile convert to Judaism 5 from Antioch. 6
Now there were these prophets and teachers in the church at Antioch: 1 Barnabas, Simeon called Niger, 2 Lucius the Cyrenian, 3 Manaen (a close friend of Herod 4 the tetrarch 5 from childhood 6 ) and Saul.
Then the apostles and elders, with the whole church, decided 1 to send men chosen from among them, Judas called Barsabbas and Silas, 2 leaders among the brothers, to Antioch 3 with Paul and Barnabas.
After he spent 1 some time there, Paul left and went through the region of Galatia 2 and Phrygia, 3 strengthening all the disciples.
