When he was in Galilee, they had followed him and given him support. ¹  Many other women who had come up with him to Jerusalem ²  were there too.

Now ¹  when the time came for their ²  purification according to the law of Moses, Joseph and Mary ³  brought Jesus ⁴  up to Jerusalem ⁵  to present him to the Lord

Jesus ¹  answered them, ²  “Haven’t you read what David did when he and his companions were hungry –

When ¹  morning came, he called his disciples and chose twelve of them, whom he also named apostles: ² 

But when this son of yours ¹  came back, who has devoured ²  your assets with prostitutes, ³  you killed the fattened calf ⁴  for him!’

Then ¹  he said to the disciples, “The days are coming when you will desire to see one of the days ²  of the Son of Man, and you will not see it.

Then ¹  Jesus ²  said to them, “When I sent you out with no money bag, ³  or traveler’s bag, ⁴  or sandals, you didn’t lack ⁵  anything, did you?” They replied, ⁶  “Nothing.”

So ¹  when they came to the place that is called “The Skull,” ²  they crucified ³  him there, along with the criminals, one on his right and one on his left.

Jesus said to her, “Believe me, woman, ¹  a time ²  is coming when you will worship ³  the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.

We must perform the deeds ¹  of the one who sent me ²  as long as ³  it is daytime. Night is coming when no one can work.

So the crowd who had been with him when he called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead were continuing to testify about it. ¹ 

When ¹  Judas ²  had gone out, Jesus said, “Now the Son of Man is glorified, and God is glorified in him.

“I have told you these things in obscure figures of speech; ¹  a time ²  is coming when I will no longer speak to you in obscure figures, but will tell you ³  plainly ⁴  about the Father.

When ¹  he had received the sour wine, Jesus said, “It is completed!” ²  Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. ³ 

But when they believed Philip as he was proclaiming the good news about the kingdom of God ¹  and the name of Jesus Christ, ²  they began to be baptized, ³  both men and women.

And do this ¹  because we know ²  the time, that it is already the hour for us to awake from sleep, for our salvation is now nearer than when we became believers.

But when the one ¹  who set me apart from birth ²  and called me by his grace was pleased

Until ¹  certain people came from James, he had been eating with the Gentiles. But when they arrived, he stopped doing this ²  and separated himself ³  because he was afraid of those who were pro-circumcision. ⁴ 

But when the appropriate time ¹  had come, God sent out his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,

For even when we were with you, we used to give you this command: “If anyone is not willing to work, neither should he eat.”
