I tell you the truth, ¹  this generation will be held responsible for all these things! ² 

For just a little longer ¹  and he who is coming will arrive and not delay. ² 

However, hold on to what you have until I come.

Therefore, remember what you received and heard, ¹  and obey it, ²  and repent. If you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will never ³  know at what hour I will come against ⁴  you.

Then ¹  people ²  will come from east and west, and from north and south, and take their places at the banquet table ³  in the kingdom of God. ⁴ 

Jesus replied, ¹  “Woman, ²  why are you saying this to me? ³  My time ⁴  has not yet come.”

I tell you, many will come from the east and west to share the banquet ¹  with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob ²  in the kingdom of heaven,

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the whole inhabited earth as a testimony to all the nations, ¹  and then the end will come.

then the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not foresee,

For the days will come upon you when your enemies will build ¹  an embankment ²  against you and surround you and close in on you from every side.

Everyone whom the Father gives me will come to me, and the one who comes to me I will never send away. ¹ 

And so ¹  all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion; he will remove ungodliness from Jacob.

“Then I said, ‘Here I am: ¹  I have come – it is written of me in the scroll of the book – to do your will, O God.’” ² 

then he says, “Here I am: I have come to do your will.” ¹  He does away with ²  the first to establish the second.

then the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not foresee, and will cut him in two, ¹  and assign him a place with the unfaithful. ² 

The slave replied, ¹  ‘Your brother has returned, and your father has killed the fattened calf ²  because he got his son ³  back safe and sound.’

When he heard that Jesus had come back from Judea to Galilee, he went to him and begged him ¹  to come down and heal his son, who was about to die.

Jesus replied, ¹  “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come from God and am now here. ²  I ³  have not come on my own initiative, ⁴  but he ⁵  sent me.

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief; when it comes, ¹  the heavens will disappear ²  with a horrific noise, ³  and the celestial bodies ⁴  will melt away ⁵  in a blaze, ⁶  and the earth and every deed done on it ⁷  will be laid bare. ⁸ 

Who will not fear you, O Lord, and glorify ¹  your name, because you alone are holy? ²  All nations ³  will come and worship before you for your righteous acts ⁴  have been revealed.”
