In the same way, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad ¹  tree bears bad fruit.

He takes away ¹  every branch that does not bear ²  fruit in me. He ³  prunes ⁴  every branch that bears ⁵  fruit so that it will bear more fruit.

A good tree is not able to bear bad fruit, nor a bad tree to bear good fruit.

“For ¹  no good tree bears bad ²  fruit, nor again ³  does a bad tree bear good fruit,

“Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad ¹  and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is known by its fruit.

The sovereign Lord showed me this: I saw ¹  a basket of summer fruit. ² 

They bear fruit even when they are old; they are filled with vitality and have many leaves. ¹ 

Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

Therefore produce fruit ¹  that proves your ²  repentance,

for the fruit of the light ¹  consists in ²  all goodness, righteousness, and truth –

Therefore ¹  they will eat from the fruit ²  of their way, ³  and they will be stuffed full ⁴  of their own counsel.

The fruit of the righteous is like ¹  a tree producing life, ²  and the one who wins souls ³  is wise. ⁴ 

I designed ¹  royal gardens ²  and parks ³  for myself, and I planted all kinds of fruit trees in them.

But the fruit of the Spirit ¹  is love, ²  joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ³ 

On both sides of the river’s banks, every kind of tree will grow for food. Their leaves will not wither nor will their fruit fail, but they will bear fruit every month, because their water source flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food and their leaves for healing.” ¹ 

Israel was a fertile vine that yielded fruit. As his fruit multiplied, he multiplied altars to Baal. ¹  As his land prospered, they adorned the fertility pillars.

In the fourth year all its fruit will be holy, praise offerings ¹  to the Lord.

Those who remain in Judah will take root in the ground and bear fruit. ¹ 

He waters the mountains from the upper rooms of his palace; ¹  the earth is full of the fruit you cause to grow. ² 

From the fruit of his speech ¹  a person eats good things, ²  but the faithless ³  desire ⁴  the fruit of violence. ⁵
