Jesus ¹  answered them, “You are deceived, ²  because you don’t know the scriptures or the power of God.

Then everyone ¹  will see the Son of Man arriving in the clouds ²  with great power and glory.

Then ¹  Jesus, in the power of the Spirit, ²  returned to Galilee, and news about him spread ³  throughout the surrounding countryside. ⁴ 

The ¹  whole crowd was trying to touch him, because power ²  was coming out from him and healing them all.

After ¹  Jesus ²  called ³  the twelve ⁴  together, he gave them power and authority over all demons and to cure ⁵  diseases,

But some of them said, “By the power of Beelzebul, ¹  the ruler ²  of demons, he casts out demons.”

Then ¹  they will see the Son of Man arriving in a cloud ²  with power and great glory.

But from now on ¹  the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand ²  of the power ³  of God.”

Now Stephen, full of grace and power, was performing great wonders and miraculous signs ¹  among the people.

saying, “Give me this power ¹  too, so that everyone I place my hands on may receive the Holy Spirit.”

“While doing this very thing, ¹  as I was going ²  to Damascus with authority and complete power ³  from the chief priests,

so that your faith would not be based on human wisdom but on the power of God.

It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;

being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might for the display of ¹  all patience and steadfastness, joyfully

He delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of the Son he loves, ¹ 

For God did not give us a Spirit ¹  of fear but of power and love and self-control.

They will maintain the outward appearance ¹  of religion but will have repudiated its power. So avoid people like these. ² 

We know that we are from God, ¹  and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

These kings ¹  have a single intent, and they will give their power and authority to the beast.

Now don’t let Hezekiah deceive you or mislead you like this. Don’t believe him, for no god of any nation or kingdom has been able to rescue his people from my power or the power of my predecessors. So how ¹  can your gods rescue ²  you from my power?’”
