Ahab told Obadiah, “Go through the land to all the springs and valleys. Maybe we can find some grazing areas ¹  so we can keep the horses and mules alive and not have to kill ²  some of the animals.”

Now Elisha went back to Gilgal, while there was famine in the land. Some of the prophets were visiting him ¹  and he told his servant, “Put the big pot on the fire ²  and boil some stew for the prophets.” ³ 

He said, “Get some flour.” Then he threw it into the pot and said, “Now pour some out for the men so they may eat.” ¹  There was no longer anything harmful in the pot.

In the seventh year of King Artaxerxes, Ezra brought ¹  up to Jerusalem ²  some of the Israelites and some of the priests, the Levites, the attendants, the gatekeepers, and the temple servants.

Each one says, ¹  ‘Come on, I’ll get some wine! Let’s guzzle some beer! Tomorrow will be just like today! We’ll have everything we want!’ ² 

The Lord told Jeremiah, ¹  “Go and buy a clay jar from a potter. ²  Take with you ³  some of the leaders of the people and some of the leaders ⁴  of the priests.

It grew so big it reached the army ¹  of heaven, and it brought about the fall of some of the army and some of the stars ²  to the ground, where it trampled them.

But some men from the Synagogue ¹  of the Freedmen (as it was called), ²  both Cyrenians and Alexandrians, as well as some from Cilicia and the province of Asia, ³  stood up and argued with Stephen.

At the designated time ¹  Cain brought some of the fruit of the ground for an offering ²  to the Lord.

Abraham took some sheep and cattle and gave them to Abimelech. The two of them made a treaty. ¹ 

Some time after these things God tested ¹  Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!” “Here I am!” Abraham ²  replied.

Now Jacob cooked some stew, ¹  and when Esau came in from the open fields, he was famished.

When some ¹  shepherds came and drove them away, ²  Moses came up and defended them ³  and then watered their flock.

On the seventh day some of the people went out to gather it, but they found nothing.

Then that high priest must take some of the blood ¹  of the bull and bring it to the Meeting Tent.

Then the high priest ¹  must bring some of the blood of the bull to the Meeting Tent,

He then poured some of the anointing oil on the head of Aaron and anointed him to consecrate him.

The priest will then take some of the log of olive oil and pour it into his own left hand. ¹ 

and you eat ¹  some of the food of the land, you must offer up a raised offering ²  to the Lord.
