“I will set fire to the walls of Damascus; it will burn up the palaces of Ben Hadad.” ¹ 

In the fire ¹  were what looked like ²  four living beings. ³  In their appearance they had human form, ⁴ 

Pile up the bones, kindle the fire; cook the meat well, mix in the spices, let the bones be charred.

It has tried my patience; ¹  yet its thick rot is not removed ²  from it. Subject its rot to the fire! ³ 

I will desolate Pathros, I will ignite a fire in Zoan, and I will execute judgments on Thebes.

But those three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell into the furnace ¹  of blazing fire while still securely bound. ² 

I will produce portents both in the sky ¹  and on the earth – blood, fire, and columns of smoke.

Nevertheless the Lord will evict her and shove her fortifications ¹  into the sea – she will be consumed by fire.

As ¹  the weeds are collected and burned with fire, so it will be at the end of the age.

“I have come ¹  to bring ²  fire on the earth – and how I wish it were already kindled!

but on the day Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. ¹ 

And tongues spreading out like a fire ¹  appeared to them and came to rest on each one of them.

And he says ¹  of the angels, “He makes ²  his angels spirits and his ministers a flame of fire,” ³ 

but only a certain fearful expectation of judgment and a fury ¹  of fire that will consume God’s enemies. ² 

Then ¹  the fourth angel ²  poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was permitted to scorch people ³  with fire.

everything that may stand the fire, you are to pass through the fire, ¹  and it will be ceremonially clean, but it must still be purified with the water of purification. Anything that cannot withstand the fire you must pass through the water.

Then the Lord rained down ¹  sulfur and fire ²  on Sodom and Gomorrah. It was sent down from the sky by the Lord. ³ 

They will eat the meat the same night; ¹  they will eat it roasted over the fire with bread made without yeast ²  and with bitter herbs.

Do not eat it raw ¹  or boiled in water, but roast it over the fire with its head, its legs, and its entrails.

He did not remove the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night from before the people. ¹
